During this difficult time, we want to thank you for your ongoing care and encouragement in supporting our mission to work with the most vulnerable homeless individuals. Illumination Foundation is on the front lines to ensure we protect the safety and health of our clients and employees throughout this health crisis. We continue to deliver the highest level of care while protecting the safety of our clients and staff.
This past week has shown how quickly the COVID-19 pandemic has changed daily life for all of us. Our staff is well trained and thoroughly prepared with safety protocols that have been implemented over the past weeks in response to this public health threat.
With the closure of schools in many districts across the state, Illumination Foundation is mindful of children and parents living close to the poverty line and on the brink of homelessness. We want to share the following links from school districts across southern California regarding meals available to those at-risk children. Please share the information below with anyone in need so that no child goes hungry:
If you have questions during this tumultuous time about homelessness, the clients we serve and how you can help, please reach out to us directly at [email protected] or call (949) 273-0555. I have attached a link below to an article from The Washington Post that ran Sunday and provides an overview of why COVID-19 has increased and how we can flatten the curve.
We are here for you and will answer your questions and concerns regarding our homeless population. We are wishing you and your family good health and safety in the coming weeks.
