Illumination Foundation February 2011 Program Milestones
Your support for the Illumination Foundation has funded innovative solutions to the homeless crisis that will benefit the community for generations to come.
Illumination Foundation's Expanded Services:
Interim Supportive Shelter
- Since the program's launch on December 7th, 2010,over 78 families have received housing and comprehensive services
Mobile Medical Clinics
- In 2010, 16 MMSC clinics provided 2,492 patient services to an estimated 1,932 clients
- Since January 2011, 4 clinics provided 33 patient services to an estimated 30 clients
Interim Housing Program
- Since July 2008, this program served 189 families, consisting of 399 children and 292 adults
- 89 families have graduated from our program into stable housing
Interim Program Averages
- 43% of the adults were employed in 2010
- 26% of the adults were continuing their education in 2010
- 55% of children received accolades at school in 2010
Permanent Housing Program (HPRP)
- Since October 2009, IF has transitioned 127 households into permanent housing
Recuperative Care Program
- In 2010 our Recuperative Care Program served 200 clients
- We connected 73% of these homeless clients with housing
- Since October 2010, our LA Recuperative Care Program served 73 clients
- In just one year, Recuperative Care saved OC and LA hospitals over $4,982,800 million
Family is Home Partnership Program (FHP)
- Since July 2010, our FHP program has served 87 motel families
- We organized 16 outreach events to connect families with valuable community resources
- 4 motel families were transitioned into permanent housing
- 3 families were accepted into our Interim Housing Programs
