Fourth Annual "Racing for Homeless Families"
On September 10th, 2011 the Illumination Foundation is hosting their fourth annual "Racing for Homeless Families" fundraiser at Los Alamitos Race Course. This annual event raises funds that go directly to support Illumination Foundation's integrated solutions to homelessness. The first annual "Racing for Homeless Families" event launched the Illumination Foundation and changed the lives of hundreds of homeless families and children forever.

Thank you to our generous donors who Gave A Day to join us at Pretend City. This event was an inspirational evening for the families we serve. It was wonderful to see them enjoying themselves so much. Everyone in attendance was thrilled to be a part of something so special. 3rd Annual Racing for Homeless Families Fundraiser
The 3rd Annual "Racing for Homeless Families" was our best event yet! Because of your generosity and support, we raised over $100,000! In fact, the funds raised at this event will allow us to provide almost 4000 days of housing and comprehensive services to homeless families and children.

Illumination Foundation's Women's Tea
On May 1st, The Illumination Foundation is hosting a women's tea to honor the homeless women we serve and the inspirational women who work to support our efforts. We are honored to have Julie Miller-Phipps, Senior Vice President and Executive Director of Kaiser Permanente, Orange County, join us as our keynote speaker. Julie Miller-Phipps was recognized as Orange County Business Journal 2009 Business Woman of the Year. Her leadership in Orange County has positioned Kaiser Permanente as a stellar example of corporate responsibility.

New Mobile Multi Service Center Launched
This January, The Orange County Board of Supervisors honored Illumination Foundation with the official launch of our new Mobile Multi Service Center. This partnership with the Orange County Health Care Agency, Giving Children Hope and the Lestonnac Free Clinic travels throughout Orange County providing free medical care and wrap-around services to the homeless.

New Recuperative Program Launched
This January, Illumination Foundation launched their Recuperative Program to manage the discharge of homeless patients from hospitals and help them successfully transition back into the community. This partnership with National Health Foundation, The Hospital Association of Southern California and Orange County Hospitals provides a safe and stable environment and comprehensive services for homeless clients discharged from local hospitals.

2009 Holiday Party at Pretend City Children's Museum
The Illumination Foundation's generous group of donors and volunteers enabled us to make a difference in the lives of over 120 families and hundreds of children in 2009. Throughout the year, the families we serve worked hard to improve their situation and become productive members of our community. On December 20th, 2009, we celebrated their journey with a party at Pretend City Children's Museum.

Tickets To Anaheim Ducks On November 23
Come to an Anaheim Ducks Game and Support Illumination Foundation! The Anaheim Ducks generously donated 75 tickets to the Illumination Foundation on November 23 versus the Calgary Flames. Tickets are $30 each, or get a family fun pack of 4 tickets for $100. 100% of ticket proceeds benefit Illumination Foundation families. Tickets are on a first-come, first-serve basis, so purchase your tickets now! Limited seating is available. Tickets retail for $43.00.

Thank You KC's Mission for the Back-to-School Carnival!
On August 20th KC's Mission hosted a Back-to-School carnival for the children at Costa Mesa Motor Inn. Over 100 kids attended and had a terrific time!

"Racing for Homeless Families" Fundraiser
On July 11, 2009, The Illumination Foundation hosted their second annual fundraiser at the Los Alamitos Race Track. The net proceeds of the event will provide stable housing and comprehensive wrap-around services for 75 homeless families and children for one month.

Holiday Party
The auditorium at the Irvine Onnuri Church was turned into a Winter Wonderland for the 43 families in IF's program for 2008's Holiday Party. Gingerbread houses waiting to be decorated, face painting, and pictures with Santa gave the children a night to remember.

1st Annual Racing for Homeless Families
On Saturday, July 12th, the Illumination Foundation held its first fundraiser at Los Alamitos Race Course. More than 275 people attended, EACH ONE providing support that positively impacted homeless families. Thousands of dollars were raised and went directly to improving the lives of homeless children and their families, one need at a time.
