Medical Outreach and Care
Benefit to the Community
Provide homeless and individuals at risk of homelessness with free medical care, behavioral health services, vision and social services at locations throughout Orange County
2011 Goals
- Serve at least 2,500 homeless and uninsured with medical and social services at a minimum of 20 clinics and 4 large health expos throughout the county
Program Strategies
- Coordinate clinics and health expos to provide free medical care, vision and social services on-site throughout OC
- Provide behavioral health services for treatment and referrals Connect clients to medical and socio-economic benefits, community clinics, physicians
- Collaborate with OCHCA to identify sites that cover the county geographically and serve those who are unable to access healthcare: homeless, at risk of homelessness, uninsured and low-income
